Track Description:
One of the Track of the Mu’adh bin Jabal Project, this course covers several stations related to the topic of prayer (salah) in Islam. It delves into the conditions, pillars, recommended actions, nullifiers, and various matters of Fiqh (jurisprudence) pertaining to salah. The approach used is a unique academic style with a rigorous scholarly methodology based on the question-and-answer concept.
Track objectives:
- To provide a general understanding of the chapter of Fiqh regarding salah and its essential matters.
- To establish a solid Fiqh foundation that enables students to perform salah according to the way the Prophet, peace be upon him, instructed.
- To familiarize students with the important aspects required for their daily prayers.
- To initiate a foundational step in the diverse chapters of Fiqh related to salah and connect them to the students’ reality.
Key learning Outcomes:
- Identification of the conditions, pillars, recommended actions, disliked actions, and nullifiers of salah.
- Comprehension of essential matters such as the prayer of a traveler (safar) and the prostration of forgetfulness (Sujood as-sahw).
- Knowledge of the rulings concerning congregational prayers (Salat Al-jama’ah) and funeral prayers (Salat Al-Janazah).
- Ability to address significant religious matters related to the Fiqh of salah.
