Kalemah centre is pleased to announce ‘Spread the Goodness’ workshop during the blessed month of Ramadan. This workshop is open to public and private sector employees and is designed to raise awareness through lectures and training to members of all faiths and none about fasting, living a good life, UAE culture and many other topics related to Ramadan here in the UAE. The workshop is available in several languages delivered by our experienced teachers.

Our Instructors
Ustadh Abdul Rahman Hassan memorized Qur’an and Buloogh Al-Muraam by the age of 10. He has travelled to different countries to study with a number of prominent scholars. He is the founder of Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah, an online program in the English language for seeking knowledge in the classical way. He has studied with prominent scholars such as: Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan – Shaykh Muhammad Aadam Al-Ethiobee – Shaykh AbdulKareem Khudayr – Shaykh AbdulMuhsin Al-Abbaad – Saad Ibn Nasir Al Shithree – Shaykh Abdullah Al-Ubaylaan.
Dr Abdul Hameed Zafar holds a PhD in Fiqh from University of Sharjah. He is an Imam and Khateeb and lives with his wife and kids in Dubai. He regularly appears on Sharjah TV and imparts insightful talks for Kalemah’s Urdu division. His doctrinal research paved way into him serving the muslim community by educating them on the important components and correct concepts of worship in establishing blissful homes and society
Ustadh Abu Anees Amal had obtained his first degree in Economic sciences in central Africa, Then admitted to Islamic University of Madinah and certified from institute of Arabic language after that he persuaded his study in faculty of hadeeth and Islamic studies.
About Kalemah
Kalemah Islamic Center is a one-of-its-kind community centre offering structured and certified instructions in Islamic Studies. It was founded in 2007 and is managed by a Board of Emirati Nationals, an Executive Committee and a staff of over a dozen full-time employees. Over the years at Kalemah, we have facilitated Islamic education for various demographics, young and old, male and female, Muslims and non-Muslims.
We are a non-profit organization officially registered under the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD,) Government of Dubai. And we operate based on charitable donations from philanthropic individuals, organizations and governmental bodies.
Kalemah has been directly involved in numerous personal and community empowerment roles across the UAE.
