قال رسول الله ﷺ: “لا صلاةَ لِمَن لم يَقرأْ بفاتحةِ الكتابِ.” (رواه البخاري ومسلم)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The prayer of the one who does not recite the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah) is incomplete.”
The Initiative Idea:
This program is designed to help new Muslims perfect their recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, ensuring accuracy in pronunciation and Tajweed. Through interactive online sessions, participants receive guided practice and corrections, helping them build confidence in their daily prayers.
The Mechanism:
- Focused lessons on correct pronunciation and Tajweed rules for Al-Fatihah.
- Individualized feedback from an experienced instructor.
- Regular guided recitations and practice exercises.
- Encouragement to implement learned skills in personal prayers.
The Objectives:
- Mastering the proper recitation of Al-Fatihah.
- Correcting pronunciation and Tajweed mistakes.
- Strengthening confidence in prayer recitation.
- Helping new Muslims build a strong connection with the Qur’an.

About the instructors
Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari has undergone a beautiful journey of rediscovery and enlightenment as he followed a path which made him the Muslim he is today. He holds a Bachelors in Islamic Studies and currently resides and lectures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, holding weekly lectures both in Arabic and English. Known for his dynamic talks and humorous remarks, Abu Mussab is an increasingly popular and relatable teacher for many of our youth. He strives to live up to and propagate the Quran and Sunnah to ensure the correct education of the future of our ummah.
- The student’s age should not exceed 18 years.
- The parent’s commitment to monitoring their son’s performance daily during the month of Ramadan.
