قال تعالى ﴿ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ ﴾ سورة البقرة: ١٨٣
Allah Almighty says: “O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you that you may become righteous.” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 183)
The Initiative Idea:
This program aims to prepare participants for Ramadan by strengthening their faith, developing practical skills for a productive month, and fostering a deeper connection with family and the community.
The Mechanism:
- The program runs for three weeks, with one session per week on Sundays.
- Sessions include interactive activities, discussions, and practical applications to connect concepts to daily life.
- Lessons incorporate stories from the Qur’an and Sunnah, along with practical guidance on worship and character-building.
The Objectives:
- Strengthen faith and connection with Ramadan.
- Equip participants with practical skills for time management and productivity during Ramadan.
- Encourage good character and positive family and community relationships.
The Outcomes:
- Stronger connection with Ramadan and its purpose.
- Better understanding of fasting and worship.
- Improved habits and time management.
- Increased kindness and good character.
- More confidence in practicing Islam.
About the instructors
Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari has undergone a beautiful journey of rediscovery and enlightenment as he followed a path which made him the Muslim he is today. He holds a Bachelors in Islamic Studies and currently resides and lectures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, holding weekly lectures both in Arabic and English. Known for his dynamic talks and humorous remarks, Abu Mussab is an increasingly popular and relatable teacher for many of our youth. He strives to live up to and propagate the Quran and Sunnah to ensure the correct education of the future of our ummah.
- The student’s age should not exceed 18 years.
- The parent’s commitment to monitoring their son’s performance daily during the month of Ramadan.
- The parent’s commitment to sending the required weekly reports to the center.
