Overview of the Program:

This beginner-level Arabic program is designed for non-native speakers who wish to learn the language in a simple, structured, and practical way.
The course focuses on the essential skills of reading, writing, speaking, and building a strong base of commonly used vocabulary.

The program combines everyday language use with cultural and Islamic context, making the learning experience meaningful and engaging.

Program Objectives:

  1. Introduce learners to foundational Arabic (letters, sounds, and basic words).
  2. Build confidence in reading and writing simple words with vowel marks.
  3. Develop basic speaking skills for self-introduction and simple conversation.
  4. Strengthen essential vocabulary for daily use.
  5. Enable learners to form short, correct sentences using common structures.

About the Teacher

Ustadh Ahmed Fawzi Al-Bedwi is an experienced Arabic language instructor with extensive expertise in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and training teachers in effective instructional methods. He holds a BA in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies from Cairo University (Dar Al-Uloom) and has dedicated many years to developing Arabic learning programs for diverse student groups. He has authored the Huroof Series for non-native speakers and served as an instructor and teacher-trainer at Kalemah Center in Dubai. His work focuses on empowering learners with strong linguistic foundations and supporting educators through structured training and curriculum development. In addition to his teaching roles, he has contributed to community education initiatives and continues to lead classes that help students build confidence and proficiency in Arabic.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Ability to read and write basic Arabic words with vowels and elongations.
  • Confidence in introducing oneself and speaking briefly about family.
  • A foundational vocabulary of 300 commonly used Arabic words.
  • Proper use of numbers, days of the week, and personal pronouns in simple sentences.
  • Skills to ask and answer basic questions and use everyday greetings.
