yeah true.if all the wordly knowledge cannot lead a person to confirm the oneness and greatness of his creator..then he really is ignorant despite his literacy.

This was a truly remarkable article, with a lot of reminders for us common Muslims to take seeking knowledge about our religion seriously! It's actually WAJIB! No wonder we find so many innovations lately, and the sad part is we can't detect them, much less correct them due to lack of what is right from wrong.

I also liked the style of writing, it was informal, non-imposing, and a light read with appropriate humor in between to keep you interested. I strongly recommend everyone to read not just until the 2nd or 3rd page, but devote your 10-15 minutes to read the whole article! It will be a worthwhile investment of your time, insha Allah.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wa brakatuhu Brothers & Sisters,

I wanted to submit my opinion on knowledge and therefore am writing this.

I believe that Knowledge is only possible if Allah wills us to have it. No amount of reading & studying can bring this about if Allah does not wish it so.

Therefore, we find that an illiterate man became a prophet (Sal allahu aleyhi wa salam). He hadn't read even 1 word in his life before.

Our duty would thus be to constantly learn the divine recitation and pray that Allah opens our eyes, ears & hearts to the revealed guidance so that we may be rightly guided & successful.

Wa Salaam
