KALEMAH Presents Sharh Arbaeen Nawawiyyah
"Whosoever memorises and preserves for my people forty hadith relating to their religion, Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment in the company of jurists and religious scholars "
In another version it reads: "Allah will resurrect him as a jurist and religious scholar ".
In the version of Abu Al-Darda it reads: "On the Day of Judgment I shall be an intercessor and a witness for him".
In the version of Ibn Masud it reads: "It will be said to him: Enter by whichever of the doors of Paradise you wish".
In the version of Ibn Omar it reads: " He will be written down in the company of the religious scholars and will be resurrected in the company of the martyrs ".
Scholars of hadith are agreed that it is a weak hadith despite its many lines of transmission.
SHARH ARBAEEN NAWAWIYYAH - EXCLUSIVELY AT KALEMAH
"It is not befitting for a believing man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger, to have any option about their decision."
[Soorah al-Ahzaab (33):36]
The religious scholars, may Allah be pleased with them, have composed innumerable works in this field. Imam Nawawi's collection of forty hadith by one of the most famous compilers of hadith is generally regarded as the most popular anthology and the best introduction to the study of the Prophet's sayings which, together with the Qur'an, contain the essential teachings of Islam.
- It is important that every righteous person has knowledge of these Ahadith.
- Everyone who desires the Hereafter must learn these Ahadith as they cover the most important aspects of the religion and direct to all forms of obedience.
- Each Hadith is by itself a great general principle of the religion.
About some of these Ahadith the scholars have said: It is one-half of Islam while others opine it is one-third of Islaam.
KALEMAH is hereby pleased to introduce the new course, which is an intensive, expository study of Imam Nawawi's Forty Hadith. The six month course aims at delivering deep understanding of the Ahadith, in sha'Allah, and is designed to help the student make significant advances in the level of imaan (belief) and a'maal (practice).
The course will begin with the etiquette of seeking knowledge and progress to an expository study of Imam Nawawi's 40 hadith, dissecting every hadith with in-depth analysis and explanation from Qur'an and Sunnah.
