ABOUT THE COURSE
This course helps the child understand, read& speak Arabic, the language of the Qur’an and Salaah (prayer) which will soon become fardh (obligatory) on them | The course is designed for rapid learning of Arabic as a foreign language in a time frame of 8 months (one academic year).
 
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
• FusHa/classical Arabic is the medium of instruction.(With minimum English to encourage conversing in Arabic)
• The course helps your child learn Quranic verses & dua’relevant to each lesson
• Starts from basics with alphabets, phonics, and progresses to reading, speaking &conducting short conversation in Arabic.
• Uses diverse learning aids to help ease quick learning (including audio, video, Arabic cartoons, nasheeds, coloring sheets, games, quizzes, stories…etc)
• Student will be graded based on attendance, participation in class activities, homework & behaviour.
• Certificates & progress reports will be issued periodically.
 
COURSE CONTENTS (3 terms)
Memorisation & understanding of surah FatiHa, Muawithaat & Al Ikhlaas | Memorisation of dua’ & Quranic verses for each topic | Learn alphabets and connecting letters. Applying harakaat, mudood, tanween, shadda, sukoon & taa marbootah | Stories of the prophets | Greetings, identify family members | Numbers and colours | Days of the week, Hijri months & seasons | Some fruits & vegetables | Parts of the body and animals
